Spring is here and with it the incredible events that make us feel a little warm. Macy’s Flower Show, the Easter Parade & Bonnet Festival, the Earth Day and even a Pillow Battle. Everything is absolutely FREE. So continue reading and find out what it holds for the fourth month of 2019.


La primavera ha llegado y con ella los increíbles eventos que nos hacen sentir un poco más calurosos. Desde el esperado Espectáculo de Flores de Macy’s, el tradicional Festival de Bonnet y Desfile de Pascua, hasta el Día de la Tierra e incluso Guerra de Almohadas. Todo es absolutamente GRATIS. Every early spring, as for 70 years, Macy’s offers a magnificent flower show from around the world. Themed fairy tales, carnivorous and fantasy flowers come to life, and the most beautiful ornaments and buildings await you at Herald Square, State Street, and Union Square.


Cada inicio de primavera, como desde hace 70 años, Macy’s ofrece un magnífico espectáculo de flores de todo el mundo. Temáticas de cuentos de hadas, flores carnívoras y de fantasía cobrando vida, y los más bellos adornos y construcciones te aguardan en Herald Square, State Street y Union Square.

Pillow Fight Day

Where: Washington Square Park

There is not much to say: if you have always wanted to start or be part of a fight with pillows and declare war on your worst enemy, April 6 is the day when each malicious act can be quoted and retaliated. You can rent a pillow for $ 5 if you forget yours. Remember to check the rules before going to the event on the official page of the event.

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival

Where: 5th Avenue from 49th to 57th Streets.

Our beautiful city every year that passes becomes an important venue for different parades and festivals that are of special relevance for many New Yorkers. One of them is the Easter Parade and the Bonnets Festival. Both events begin with the memorial service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Unlike other parades, Easter does not intervene with selling souvenirs or snacks, so enjoy what is sold in the premises that are along the route.


Nuestra preciosa ciudad cada año que transcurre se vuelve una sede importante para distintos desfiles y festivales que son de especial relevancia para muchos neoyorquinos. Uno de ellos es el Desfile de Pascua y el Festival de Sombreretes. Ambos eventos comienzan con la misa conmemorativa en la Catedral de San Patricio. A diferencia de otros desfiles, el de Pascua no interviene con venta de souvenirs o bocadillos, así que a disfruta de lo que se vende en los locales que se encuentran a lo largo del recorrido.
