Events in January 2021 in New York City

So we are a few days away from starting the 2021 new year, the ways of witnessing events, which in other times were massive, will continue virtually. So we bring you some that will surely cheer you up and bring you joy to your home.

Three Kings Day

When: Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

A classic celebration of the Latino community in New York is Three Kings Day. In other times parades were organized that people from all over the city attended and they could learn a little more about this day commemorated by the Catholic Church. In 2021 the virtual modality will allow this event to be witnessed by inhabitants of other cities or states. Two important organizers such as Teatro Sea and El Museo will stream their corresponding celebrations from their Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Una celebración clásica de la comunidad latina en Nueva York es la del Día de Reyes. En otros años se organizaban desfiles a los que acudía gente de todas partes de la ciudad y podían aprender un poco más sobre este día conmemorado por la iglesia católica. En 2021 la modalidad virtual permitirá que este evento pueda ser presenciado por habitantes de otras ciudad o estados. Dos imporantes organizadores como Teatro Sea y El Museo transmitirán desde sus cuentas en Facebook y Youtube sus correspondientes celebraciones.

Good news! Black Comic Book Festival returns in January to New York City. 2021’s the ninth year of this festival that will be a virtual way. This is a good way to celebrates the rich tradition of Black comics. Get ready to witness excellent cosplay, conferences with comic creators, and new productions.

¡Buenas noticias para los amantes de las historietas! Enero nos recibe con los brazos abiertos gracias a que este festival no se canceló. Se trata del Black Comic Book Festival, uno de los más importantes de su género. ¿De qué trata? De las creaciones en pro de las historietas creadas por afroamericanos, con historias con EUA como transfondo y la evolución de este material de lectura.

The Restaurant Week – Winter returns in January 2021. And although we will not be able to dinner insider any of the restaurants that will participate in it, the best ways to support them in these critical moments are home orders and take away. Each of them will have a 2-course lunch, $ 26, and a 3-course dinner, $42. (It does not include taxes or tips).

La edición de invierno de la célebre Restaurant Week vuelve en enero del 2021. Y aunque no podamos acceder a ninguno de los restaurantes que participarán en ella, las mejores formas de apoyarlos en estos momentos críticos son los pedidos a domiclios y para llevar.
