Finalmente estamos presenciando el verano más ansiado desde el año pasado. Y para experimentarlo al máximo debemos estar al tanto de la mayor cantidad posible de actividades. Así que ahora te contaremos algunos detalles de lo más vigente en estos días, y por supuesto que no olvidaremos aquellas inauguraciones que prometen hacernos más cálido esta segunda vuelta tras la pandemia que se llevó nuestro 2020.

📅 Opening the end of May
This is about a wonderful and architectural gem that people who actually are living here and foreigners for sure too. So our view will be directed towards Pier 55 and that magnificent “floating” and landscape garden. For now, the opening date has not yet been published. So we have to stay tuned to learn more.
Se trata de una de las construcciones que prometen atraer a más turismo local, nacional, y muy seguramente también internacional. Se trata de una de las nuevas maravillas arquitectónicas, que atraen la vista y la atención de todo el mundo a la zona costera de Nueva York, específicamente al Pier 55. Por lo pronto, la fecha de apertura aún no ha sido publicada; así que nos queda mantenernos pendientes.

A lot of spaces are so ready to create safe spots for children because it’s important to learn how to spend awesome summer days. So they have arranged to place a large number of activities throughout the city that will come in handy for children to cool off and enjoy sunny days. And in that way, The Yard, on Governors Island, comes to give us one more reason to get a car service and visit them right now.
Entry is free and first-come, first-served, with health and safety measures to review before your visit.
Muchos han pensado en cómo refrescar las tardes de los más pequeños de la casa. Así que se han dispuesto a colocar, a lo largo de la ciudad, una gran cantidad de actividades que por seguro les vendrán bien para eliminar todo el posible estrés acumulado tras los meses anteriores. Y esta vez te sugerimos ir a The Yard, en Governors Island, que tiene muchos actividades que podrán hacer tus chicos en su patio de juegos.
La entrada es libre. No hay reservación, por lo que quien llega primero, es quien puede acceder primero. Sin embargo, es necesario usar cubrebocas y seguir las medidas de distancia social.

With artificial grass-covered space which in no way deny the purpose of cultural and artistic openness, the Lincoln Center has in mind to reactivate the artistic activities of this area, because in that way is New York City opening eyes again. What’s new? Free books are available for borrowing by the New York Public Library, artistic workshops such as dance, painting, live music, a small bar for munchies. Don’t forget the Kid-Friendly atmosphere. In addition, everything is suitable for the free access of people with wheelchairs, canes, or with some type of disability.
Con unas instalaciones de pasto artificial, que de ninguna forma niegan el propósito de apertura cultural y artística, que el Lincoln Center tiene en mente para reactivar las actividades de este rubro. ¿Qué hay de nuevo? Préstamo de libros, talleres artísticos como danza, pintura, música en vivo, y más. Todo en un ambiente familiar, por lo que es Kid-Friendly. Además todo está adecuado para el libre acceso de personas con sillas de ruedas, bastones o con algún tipo de discapacidad.

The smallest Mini Golf fans now have a space to practice this beautiful activity on the outskirts of one of the most imposing and visually attractive places in the city. Brookfield Place has arranged a small 7-hole facility, which the kids will be able to enjoy in a big way.
Los pequeños aficionados el Mini Golf ahora cuentan con un espacio para practicar esta preciosa actividad a las afueras de uno de los sitios más imponentes y visualmente atractivos de la ciudad. Thank goodness movie screenings will be back across the East River in Astoria. The venue will be Astoria Park Great Lawn. It will begin on May 14 with A Star is Born, on May 21 with Back to the Future, on May 28 with Toy Story 4. And finally, on June 4 this event ends with A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood.
Gracias al cielo volverán las proyecciones de películas frente al Río Este en Astoria. La sede será Astoria Park Great Lawn. Comenzarán el 14 de mayo con A Star ir Born, continuarán el 21 de mayo con Volver al Futuro, el 28 de mayo con Toy Story 4; y finalmente el 4 de junio culminarán con A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood.
