BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival

What is BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn? It’s a free summer experience that allows New Yorkers to come back again and again with their friends and family to appreciate or discover a new musical genre, acclaimed artist, or world culture each night of the Festival. And it is not an event that has arisen from a few years ago to the present. In fact, in 2022 it will be 40 years since the first Bric Brooklyn Festival was held. So, since 1979, Prospect Park “has hosted celebrated world music icons, legendary jazz artists, and indie bands. Gravity-defying dance troupes, large-scale film projects, and even a virtual reality performance becoming one of the city’s top cultural attractions and a beloved summer tradition”.
