It’s the official event of the Oktoberfest NYC. And although it is not a direct copy of the Munich festival. It does have the essence that many seek to be able to join the party from their city of origin, in this case, New York. A spirited beer garden also joins the list of Oktoberfest venues. And it’s not really the first time Royale has done it. In fact, they have a special beer for the long-awaited fall event. This is Spaten Oktoberfest Ur-Märzen, a dark Märzen, 5.9% alcohol. They clarify that it’s the one marketed in the United States, and not the Oktoberfest Bier, sold in Munich.

This is one of the local craft breweries in Brooklyn. And it’s nice to know that it keeps remaining consistent as an Oktoberfest venue. It is nothing but a beer with the same name as that famous festival, and whose flavors are practically the ones that stand out in this pre-autumn season. They choose a type of beer, a Märzen lager with sweet malts and German hops. They have also had a special burger, as well as pretzels and sausages, totally ad hoc for this style of beer.
